

Carl Richmond Moseley, age 85 of Nashville, passed May 18, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Effie Moseley of Nashville; his brothers, Fred and Jack, and his sister, Willie Clay Scarlett. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Peay Moseley; his sons, Jeff (Charlene) and Bob (Fiona); grandchildren, Justin (Courtney), Jeff, Jessica (Ron) Goodpasture and Jennifer Moseley; great-grandchildren, Ty Moseley and Benton Goodpasture; his brother, Charlie (Nellie) Moseley and sisters, Jean Cagle and Mary Davenport; sisters-in-law, Christine (William) Vincent, Faye McCarroll, and many nieces and nephews.He was a 1948 graduate of Antioch High School. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. Then he completed his second career with the U.S. Postal Service. He loved to hunt and fish, and left many, many fond memories of these times. He was a member of Free Will Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed. Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at one o'clock in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall. Gathering of family and friends will be this afternoon from four o'clock until eight o'clock at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home, and two hours prior to the service on Thursday.Pallbearers: Dr. Justin Moseley, Sgt. Jeff Moseley, Ray McCarroll, Mike McCarroll, Danny McCarroll, Charlie Moseley, Dewey Moseley and Buzz Moseley.
