

She graduated in record time from a business college in GA.
Carole worked in the reservations office for Piedmont Airlines/US Air. She also worked at Nashville International Airport at the ticket counter and gate for US Air. She was actively involved in GodWhy Church, donating to various organizations in the community, and enjoyed her newfound passion of acting in church plays.
Carole is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Gibson Weaver, and her son, Brad Edward King.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Edward King, and daughter, April Elizabeth King.
Her hands found their greatest joy in the soil. Carole was an avid gardener and nature lover who is remembered for the beauty she brought into the world.
She found her greatest peace with her toes in the sand and the sound of the ocean in her ears.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Woodlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, October 4th at 3:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m.
The family asks that those who wish to express sympathy consider donating to your favorite humane association/animal shelter to honor Carole’s love and compassion for animals.
To honor Carole’s deep love for marine life, donations may also be made to your preferred ocean organization.
