

Carolyn Forte Casey passed away on February 16, 2026 at the age of 79 in her home surrounded by love. Carolyn was born on June 5, 1946. She grew up in Nashville, TN and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Ann Church as well as a graduate of St. Bernard Academy. She went on to attend Middle Tennessee State University where she met her husband of almost 57 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor Thomas Forte Jr. and Annie B. Forte. She is survived by her husband John Casey, her children, Larry (Laura) Casey, Bridget (Jason) Vaillancourt, and Amy (Chris) Skinner, her six grandchildren, Ian Vaillancourt, Isaac Vaillancourt, Zoe Casey, Arabella Casey, Molly Skinner, and Owen Skinner, and her siblings Theresa Shelton, Victor Thomas Forte III, Robert Forte, Will Forte, and Helen Smith.
Carolyn led a life committed to family, service, and faith. She found joy and purpose in taking care of all of those around her. Her kind and giving nature was not limited to her spouse, children, grandchildren, and parents but extended to her siblings and her multitude of extended family and friends. As a devout Catholic, she applied these traits to the betterment of her community. Carolyn regularly volunteered and cultivated her faith as a longtime member of her weekly Bible study.
Visitation with the family will be at St. Ann Catholic Church on Saturday, February 21st from 9a.m. to 10a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass of the Resurrection at 10a.m.
