

Age 80, departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on the fifth day of March, 2015. He was born on the thirty-first day of August,1934, in Nashville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his first son; Charles H. Burrum. He is survived by his sisters; Brenda Burrum of Nashville and Catherine Johnston (Tom) of California, his loving wife of sixty-two years; Lula Joscelyn Burrum, their five children; three daughters, Patty Burrum, Sandy (Glenn) Harbin and Cynthia (Johnny) Kelly, and two sons, Gary (Judy) Burrum and Randy (Beth) Burrum, daughter-in-law; Shirley Burrum, nine grandchildren; Bryant (Jennifer) Burrum, Stephen Burrum, Karen Burrum, Christy (Brad) Street, Cody Burrum, Dustin Burrum, Brittney Burrum, Matthew (Dana) McKinney, and Jason (Nicole) McKinney, and eight great-grandchildren. Charles was a loving family man, an avid golfer, and fisherman who loved to travel as much as possible with his wife and family. He retired from the US Tobacco Company after 25 years of service. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from two to eight o'clock in the evening, and again on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from ten-thirty to eleven-thirty in the morning. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at eleven-thirty in the morning in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with longtime friend Wendell Poole to officiate. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Interment to followthe funeral service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
