Charles James Kincaid Jr.

Charles James Kincaid Jr (Jim), 91, of Brentwood, TN passed away Saturday December 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda, parents Charles and Mary Clare Kincaid, and sister Mary Francis Steiner.

He is survived by his sons, Jimmy Kincaid and Mike (Ellen) Kincaid, daughter Stephanie Kincaid, grandchildren Ashley (Jacob) Metkler, Sydney Kincaid, and Mackenzie Kincaid, niece Ann Steiner, nephew Frank (Nida) Steiner, great-nieces Clare Steiner, Mary Ann Steiner, and Bridgette Steiner, and many cousins.

He attended Christ the King Elementary School and Father Ryan High School. After serving in the Air Force during the Korean War he continued his studies at Middle Tennessee State and the YMCA Law School. In a long career he worked at Travelers Insurance, Century 21, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Jim was an ardent sports fan attending Tennessee Titans and Vanderbilt Commodore football games and countless NASCAR races with his wife Brenda. He could be found most days working in his yard and attending to his birds and squirrels.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday December 15 from 4:30PM to 6:30PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 535 Sneed Road W, Franklin, TN. The funeral mass will be held Friday December 16 at 10:00 AM also at St. Matthew (Fr. Edward Steiner, celebrant). Interment at Calvary Cemetery to follow.
