Cheryl Elizabeth Wooten

Cheryl Elizabeth Wooten, loving mother, wife and friend, joined her parents and our Lord in Heaven Friday morning. She was preceded in death by her faithful father, Wallace Shepard, unshakable mother, Evelina Rhodes and devoted step-father, James "Daddy Jim" Rhodes. She is survived by her husband, Gary "Tinker" Wooten; children, Nicole McGee (Sam), Cody Batey (Sherry), Brian Wooten (Venus), Courtney Martin (Patrick) and Brent Wooten, all of who will miss her dearly. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Austin McGee, Colton McGee, Josh Wooten, Dillon Wooten, Sean Dixon and Michael "Bailey" Wooten. Two of Cheryl's lifelong, devoted and dear friends, Linda Hoffman and Beverly Hamilton, are with the family sharing this difficult time and helping to guide them through this tremendous loss. All thoughts and prayers are welcome and tremendously appreciated. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be immediately following the visitation in Hibbett & Hailey's Chapel with Minister Josh Wooten officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Lung Association.
