Claire is survived by her son Larry (Kathy) Weber, grandchildren Jeff (Sheryl) Weber, Jason (Kelly) Weber, Jennifer (James) Jeanette; great grandchildren Andrew (Anna) Jeanette, Lauren Jeanette, Luke Weber, Landon Weber, Lyndsi Weber, Lexi Weber, Dylan Weber as well as numerous friends and loved ones.
Claire was born on April 14, 1924, in St. Louis, Missouri. She made her home in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1952, where she built a full and meaningful life. She enjoyed a distinguished career, working for several collection agencies before joining the HCA business office, where she remained until her retirement in the late 1990s.
A gifted and creative soul, Claire was a talented artist known for her drawing, oil paintings, and her writing of poems and short stories. Her artistic abilities were recognized and appreciated through various forms of media. She was also deeply involved in the local art community and proudly served as a President of the Tennessee Art League. She had a deep love for travel, especially to England and Italy, where she attended several art workshops. One of her most memorable adventures was traveling to England aboard the Queen Elizabeth II.
Claire cherished time spent with her family, enjoyed playing bingo, and was well known for her wonderful sense of humor. Trying to sum up 101 years of a life well lived in just a few words feels nearly impossible, as her legacy is vast and deeply cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 11:00am ~ 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 1:00pm at Hibbett and Hailey Funeral Home located at 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. The burial will immediately follow at Spring Hill Cemetery located at 5110 Gallatin Pike S, Nashville, TN 37216,
