He was born on January 9, 1930 at home in Hickman County, Tennessee to the late Clyde D. and Hazel G. Peery Aydelott.
Mr. Aydelott is preceded in death by his daughter, Lea Aydelott.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Martha Ann Sisco Aydelott; son, Ron Aydelott and his wife Colleen; grandchildren, Abbi Raney and her husband Tripp, and Aron Aydelott and his sister, Eleanor Hamilton.
Mr. Aydelott played football at Austin Peay State University before joining the United States Army. He served his country proudly during the Korean War. Including active duty and guard service he spent roughly 10 years in service to his great nation. Mr. Aydelott spent his working career with the Nashville Electric Service as Credit Manager before retiring with over 36 years of service. In his spare time he enjoyed golf and traveling and was a member of Antioch Church of Christ.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 beginning at eleven o’clock in the morning followed by a Celebration of Mr. Aydelott’s Life at one o’clock in the afternoon in Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton’s Dignity Hall. Burial will follow with military honors in Woodlawn Memorial Park’s Field of Honor.
