Daisy Davis Daniels passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec 27, 2015. Ephesians 4:32 states, “A n d b e k i n d t o o n e another, tender-hearted, fo rgiving e ac h other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” Daisy Daniels personified this quality throughout her life with the most gentle of hearts and an abundant kindness of spirit; and, in doing so, left us with the lasting legacy of a proud family, countless friends, and an unending desire to live our lives in the same manner she herself lived. No matter what challenge Daisy encountered, she always faced it with grace and a rock-solid faith in Jesus to carry her through. This remained a constant throughout her life. Daisy was born in 1929 in Harlan County, KY to Frank Davis and Axie Allen. It was during this time she began to acquire many of the values she lived by throughout her life. It was also during this time she met her future husband, Golden D a n i e l s . D a i s y a n d Golden married in 1946 and moved to Nashville in 1956, where Daisy fostered a solid foundation at home, and together with Golden, raised their three children. “Granny”, as she was referred to by many of her grandchildren and g re a t - g r a n d c h i l d re n , l o v e d a n d d o t e d o n them with endless hugs and gentle pats on the back.
