Daisy Ann Nixon Reynolds, born December 15, 1932 in Hickman, TN passed away peacefully on November 8, 2017 after a battle with dementia. Daisy had a long career with the State of Tennessee. She and her husband, James Lafayette Reynolds raised a wonderful daughter, Julia Ann Reynolds, at their home in Donelson.
In addition to her husband and daughter, Daisy is preceded in death by parents, Earl Roy and Allie Mae Chapman Nixon, brothers John Ligon Nixon and Thomas Loyd Nixon and sister Marie Nixon Reed. She is survived by brother Earl Boyd (June) Nixon of Ashland City, TN and sister Gladys Ashburn of Nashville.
Always greeting others with a smile, Daisy was a faithful Christian, an avid gardener and a friend to many. Her family and friends thank the dedicated staff and caregivers at Barton House. A graveside service will be conducted at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebanon Pike, on Monday, November 13, 2017 at noon with a reception to follow.
