Deloras "Pinky" Faye Morris

She was born on November 13, 1946, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William Albert and Lorene Hutchins Hutson. Mrs. Morris retired after 18 years of service as an Administrative Secretary for the State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture Weights and Measures Division. She was a major fan of the Tennessee Titans. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Durrell Morris Sr., and brother, Jimmy Albert Hutson.

She is survived by daughter, Shelia Lorene Morris Bess and her husband, Todd; son, Harold Durrell Morris Jr.; grandson, Jeffrey “Dale” Bess; nephew, Jay Hutson; niece, Renee Baker and her husband, Johnny; sister-in-law, Rita Hutson, and several other relatives and friends.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Smith Springs Baptist Church, 2760 Park Dale Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37217, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

The Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation at the church at 1:00 pm with Dr. Mason Davis officiating.
