

Born to Paul and Katie Mai Dozier in Kansas City Missouri on Dec. 7, 1938. A 1956 graduate of North Nashville High School. A police officer for the Nashville Police Department, after retiring from the force he became a realtor for Nodine Shreeve Realty. He lived a storied life filled with unbelievable stages, unexpected turns, and unprecedented moments filled with purpose, growth, and love.
He enjoyed so many things; Some of which include history, politics, fishing, photography, shooting, listening to music, reading, writing, and above all being with and talking about his family.
On March 23rd, 2026, God called him home to eternal and everlasting peace.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Katie Mai Dozier, his sister Margie Beazley, his brother Tommy Dozier, his doting wife of 39 years, Christine Dozier, and his beautiful daughter Maria Dozier Rabasca. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Casteel-Dozier, son Captain Donald Lee Dozier (Meredith), son Damon Paul Dozier, MD (Georgeanna) and his son in law George Rabasca. As well as his grandchildren Crystal Reid (Hugh), Erica Morgan, Shereè Coulter (Nathan), Adam Casteel (Ashley), Katherine Paravel, Jacob Rabasca, Luke Rabasca, Emma Dozier, Julia Dozier, Madelyn Dozier, Colin Dozier. In addition, he had 11 great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, and cousins that he cherished and adored.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, US, on March 27, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, US, on March 27, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, US, on March 27, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
