Donna Jean Dickson

She was born in Nashville on June 30, 1970, and spent her life in the city she loved. Donna married Thomas E. Dickson Jr. in Nashville, and together they built a life full of love and family.

Donna worked as a school bus driver for Metro Nashville Public Schools from 1998 to 2022, proudly serving her community and the students she cared for. She also had a passion for growing desert roses, which brought her great joy.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Dickson Jr.; her sons, Cody Dickson (Chyna) and Caleb Dickson; her granddaughter, Caydence Dickson; her siblings, Stanley Jenkins (Erin), Brenda Jackson (Larry), and Mary Nave (Mitch); and many nieces and nephews.

Donna will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for family, and the quiet strength she shared with those around her.

A gathering of family and friends for Donna will be held Monday, August 4, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 3:00pm, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A committal and interment will follow Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
