Doris Bryant "Mimi" Turner - age 82 passed away December 19, 2010. Born January 7, 1928 in Columbia, Tennessee, she is preceded in death by her husband Carl Turner; parents Sam and Elizabeth Stewart Anderson and brother Howard Anderson.
Doris retired from Genesco, was a member of McKendree Methodist Church, Martha Estes Sunday School Class and Jubilate Choir. She enjoyed trips with McKendree Sunshine Group.
She is survived by daughter Pam (Charles) Appleton, son Wayne Bryant; grandchildren Andy (Rebecca) Appleton, Brian (Erin) Appleton, Sam and Max Bryant; great-grandchildren Katy, Seth and Reed Appleton; daughters-in-law Jackie Bryant; sister-in-law Sarah Anderson and nephew Mark Anderson.
Funeral services will be 2:30 Wednesday afternoon in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Steven Handy officiating. Burial follows in Woodlawn Memorial Park Garden of Ruth.
