Dorothy Jean VanDolen of Nashville, Tennessee, was taken home by her Lord on January 7, 2017. Preceded in passing by her parents, Dorothy Grace and R.T. Darrow. Survived by her sons, Vinson and Terry VanDolen; sister, Betty Hunt; brother, Paul Darrow; granddaughter, Betty Jean VanDolen; and favorite cousin and best friend, Donnie Browing. Dorothy Jean graduated from Bellevue High School in 1957 and was an avid sports fan. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2017, from five to eight o’clock in the evening and again on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from ten to eleven-thirty, with funeral service at eleven-thirty. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society in her honor.
