Davis, Dugan Coughlan, age 2, died in a tragic accident on February 16, 2012. She was a beautiful, bright, and lively little girl who was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her, and she brought immeasurable joy and happiness to her parents and brothers. She was born in Nashville on September 16, 2009 to Tamara Stephens and Joe Davis. Dugan loved the color pink, her kitty cats, playing princess, pushing her dolls in their strollers, driving the golf cart, and feeding the ducks at Cabbage Key. She liked to put on her Momma’s nail polish, makeup and jewelry; to read stories about animals and make all the animal sounds; to eat popsicles and chocolate; to snuggle in bed with her Momma and Dadda; and to go barefoot. She loved playing with her big brother Eli in his playroom, swinging with her little brother Jack in the park, and going bye- bye anywhere with her Momma and Dadda. She is survived by her parents Tamara and Joe, her brothers Eli and Jack, her grandmother Judy Coleman and her husband Jim, her grandfather Jack Stephens and his wife Sue, and aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom are devastated by her untimely death. Her grandparents Dugan and Rascoe Davis preceded her in death. Visitation will be at Marshall, Donnelley, and Combs on Sunday, February 19, from 5-7 P.M. and on Monday at noon preceding the 1:30 service at First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Road, Nashville, Tn. Honorary pallbearers are Rascoe Dean, Jacob Coleman, Jim Coleman, Jack Stephens and Brian Gruber. Her family would be honored if donations in her memory were made to Walden Puddle, PO Box 641, Joelton, TN 37080 or Happy Tales, 230 Franklin Rd., Franklin, TN 37064. Arrangements under the direction of Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home, Nashville, Tennessee.
