

Edith “Louise” Boehm, 81, of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026, following a long journey with Alzheimer’s disease, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith and generosity that will be cherished by all who knew her.
She was born on December 28, 1944, in Chariton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John Boehm. Louise is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Bill) Willson and Tammy (Bruce) Gennari; and her grandsons, Ian (25), Noah (22), and Spencer (19).
Louise was the beloved wife of the late John Boehm, with whom she shared 56 wonderful years of marriage before his passing four years ago. Their life together was rooted in commitment, companionship, and enduring love - a partnership that served as an inspiration to family and friends alike. She now rejoins her husband in eternity, a reunion that brings comfort to those who loved her.
A devoted Christian, Louise lived her faith daily through kindness, compassion, and selfless giving. She was known for her extremely generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand, offer a warm smile, or open her home to others.
She was a loving mother to her two daughters, Lisa and Tammy, whom she supported and cherished unconditionally. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to her three grandsons, Ian, Noah, and Spencer, in whom she took immense pride and delight.
Louise was also an incredible cook and a marvelous baker, bringing people together through meals made with love. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, filled with the comforting aromas of her recipes and the laughter of those gathered around her table.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and deep devotion to her family. Louise's presence brought warmth and comfort to all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her daughters, sons in-law, grandsons, and all whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
