
Mrs. Norman was born in Rutherford, TN, on July 17, 1922, the daughter of the late Tollie Roland Gilmore and Addie Cavitt Gilmore. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Norman was a devoted preacher’s wife and was a wonderful mother. She enjoyed playing the piano, teaching Sunday School, and singing in the choir.
Survivors include her husband of seventy four years, Maury Norman; four children, M.A. Norman, Anne Norman-Rhea, Rebekah Norman, and Julia (Mark) Wilson; six grandchildren, Kelsi Wilson, Steven Wilson, Rachel Hibdon, Lisa Norman, Staci Smith, and Tony Meyers; and great-grandchildren, Charley Meyers, Addison Wilson, Garrett Wilson, and Camden Jack Wilson. Also, a very special friend, LaVonna Phy survives.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at ten o’clock, Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Fleming and Rev. Ronnie Pittenger officiating. Interment will follow at Bells Chapel Cemetery in Dyer, TN at 1:30 P.M.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday from five o’clock until seven thirty at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
