Ed was born on March 23rd, 1939, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joshua Wayne and Harriet Gore, and 4 siblings, Joshua Wayne Jr, George, Mary Frances and Robert.
Ed was immediately loved by everyone who met him. With his broad smile, high energy and enormous hugs, he was not one to be forgotten. He was a proud veteran of the Air Force, the fun guy on the dance floor, a commanding speaker at church, a college baseball pitcher, and everybody's ringer on various softball teams as years passed.
Ed is survived by his wife of 61 years, Denise Boudreaux Gore, son Eddie (Laurie), daughter Kelli, son Greg (Alison), and his grandchildren, Edward, Oliver, lKatie, Kiera, Alex and Hadyn.
All are welcome to gather for a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday June 19th at St. Henry Catholic Church. Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 am with burial at VA cemetery, McCrory Lane, Nashville at 10:00am on Friday June 27, 2025
