

Eileen P. Lowery, 78, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2015 at her residence, peacefully in her sleep after a joyful day of laughter with friends and family. Mrs. Lowery was born on November 7, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to her parents; Gustave Albert Post and Sarah Ellen (Lunger) Post. Mrs. Lowery was a Registered Nurse for 37 years having worked for MTSU, Middle Tennessee Medical Center, Vanderbilt Medical Center and Leesburg Regional Medical Center. She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with her degree in Nursing. Mrs. Lowery and her husband Cecil most recently resided in Leesburg, FL after having been a Middle Tennessee resident for 40 years. She was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church of Leesburg and Hermitage Baptist Church in Nashville where she performed with the Choirs, and Chancel Ringers. Mrs. Lowery was an actress with 50 Forward, The Mellon Patch and several other theatres and volunteered with multiple organizations. She also liked to crochet and loved to dance. Mrs. Lowery is survived by her loving husband: Cecil T. Lowery of Leesburg, FL; three daughters: Julia Ann McCoy-Pavlicek (Bill) of Chicago, IL, Sarah (Sally) Ellen McCoy-Gordon of Nashville, TN and Laura Eileen McCoy-Bickel (Brian) of Hartland, MI; eleven grandchildren: Stephanie Urick, Amanda Gaddes, Rebecca Olson, Nicholas Gordon, Travis Gordon, Kimberlee Bradford, Jennifer Waitkus, Jamie Gordon, Austin Bickel, Eric Bickel and Scott Bickel; twenty six great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at eleven thirty in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Gathering of family and friends on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from four o’clock in the afternoon until nine o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
