Elizabeth Ann Burton

Mrs. Burton was born in Memphis, TN, on April 19, 1929, the daughter of the late Carroll D. Ferguson and Mary Disheroon Ferguson. She attended Memphis Central High School and a David Lipscomb College. Mrs. Burton was a member of Green Hills Garden Club and a secretary of Lipscomb Alumni. She attended Antioch Church of Christ where she was an active member of Sunday School Class and 39ers class. Mrs. Burton placed her membership at Brentwood Hills Church of Christ in 2015. Mrs. Burton worked at Lyzon Inc. for twenty eight years. She enjoyed family Monday night dinners and was passionate about her family. Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by two sons, David and Barry Burton and a sister, Carolyn Adams.

Survivors include her husband, Nelson L. Burton; a daughter, Beth Burton Saggio (Lou); a son, Steve Burton (Beth Banks Burton); nine grandchildren, Matt Burton, Daniel Burton, Shane Burton, Sloan Burton, Loden Burton, Grace Burton, Ashley Saggio Potts, Joseph Saggio, and Michael Saggio; and fourteen great-grandchildren and one on the way.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at eleven o’clock at Brentwood Hills Church of Christ and visitation from nine o’clock until the funeral hour.

Gathering of family and friends will be held Monday from four o’clock until seven o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
