
REYNOLDS, Elizabeth SuiterAge 92. Passed away January 14, 2012. Born September 4th, 1919 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by her husband, Joe Reynolds; daughter, Betty Joe Goldzweig (Irwin); grandchildren, Allison Faye Reynolds, Michael Patrick Dyer and great-grandchild, Alyssa Marie Anglin. Survived by her children, Cheryl Ann Dyer (Joseph), Mary Kathleen Anglin (Mike), Joseph Lynch Reynolds (Heather) and Tamara Patrice Reynolds (Dale); eight grandchildren, Michelle Perkins (Stacy) of Virginia, Joseph Edward Dyer, Jr. (Tammy), Larry Joseph Anglin (Jamie), Anna Goldzweig Lockwood (Sean) of Kentucky, Patrick Dyer of Georgia, Mikka Anglin Evans (Patrick), Adam Lynch Reynolds, Rachel Reynolds Goldzweig; seven great-grandchildren, Kristina Nicole Anglin, Stephanie Elizabeth Perkins, Joseph Michael Patrick Dyer, Zachary Michael Perkins, Joesea Kathleen Anglin-Evans, Henry Joseph Lockwood and John Patrick Evans, Jr. She was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Evelyn Jackson, Virginia Lois McLaurine. Survived by siblings, Clarence Suiter and Joe Ann Scott of Virginia. She leaves behind countless nieces and nephews and their children, as well as loving friends. Mrs. Reynolds' proprietress of The Mustard Seed Craft Shop on Fairfax Avenue during the 1970's where she also gave lessons in various popular crafts of the time. She was a participant of the Christmas Village for many years under the name of her business, The Mustard Seed. She was also a member of the Nashville Women's Golf association, and a member and Chairwoman of 18 and 9 Hole golf groups of Richland Country Club, where she was a member since 1969. She was a member of the Friends of Cumberland Heights Organization since 2004, and a member and President of Jocelyn Hills Garden Club in the 1960's. She was a parishioner of St. Henry Catholic Church. She was an artist, loved to cook, sew and to travel. She was an avid golfer and continued to challenge herself throughout her life. She was a loyal friend, a nurturer of those in need, and a loving mentor. She was a devoted wife and a giving mother, not only to her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, but also to many people she loved and met. She has blessed many with her spirit and she will be sorely missed. The family will have visitation and a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 3-5 p.m., at the home of her daughter, Tamara Reynolds, at 6444 Currywood Drive, Nashville, TN 37205. A private Memorial Service will be performed for the immediate family at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Komen Breast Cancer Research, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , Odyssey Hospice or Cumberland Heights.
