Erskin "Tootie" Robert Bailey

BAILEY, Erskin Robert "Tootie" - Age 78 of Nashville, TN. Born in Ardmore, AL. He passed away on December 2, 2011. He was the son of William and Ina Bailey. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Ruby D. Bailey, of Nashville, TN; sons, Michael Wayne (Jennifer) Bailey, of Hermitage, TN and Allen (Janice) George, of Lebanon, TN; 8 grandchildren, Rusty (Ellen) Howell, Gene Howell, Chris (Robert) Selby, Jason (Jewell) Taylor, Russell Barrett, Stephanie Barrett, Ashley George, and Steven George; 13 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William Jr. Bailey, Donald Ray Bailey, and Thomas Jerry (Arbie) Bailey. He is survived by brothers, Roy Gene Bailey, RC Bailey, Kenneth (Mary) Bailey; and sisters, Audrey Marie (George) Turk, and Carolyn (Ralph) Parker. He will be remembered as a man of character who worked hard and valued living a life of integrity and valued his love of family unconditionally. He will be deeply missed by those who were blessed to know and love him. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, 2011 from nine o'clock in the morning until eight o'clock in the evening in the Dogwood Drawing Room at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall at ten o’clock, the morning of Tuesday, December 6, 2011 with Pastor Steven Williams officiating.
