

Born on May 23, 1927, in Portland, TN, to the late Isaiah Alvin (Ike) Perdue and Emily Earline Perdue, Eva was a devoted wife, aunt, and friend. She married Edwin T. (Tom) Demonbreun on October 29, 1949, in Franklin, KY.
Eva worked for and retired from Genesco Johnson Murphy Retail Accounting, where she served as a supervisor for 40 years. She was an active member of Madison General Baptist Church and, more recently, Center Point Church.
Eva enjoyed spending her time cooking, quilting, sewing crafts, and tending to her flower garden. Her hands were always busy creating something special for those she loved.
Eva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom, and her siblings: sisters Evelyn (Cordell) Earps, Cristol B. (William) House, Mai Dell (Jay) Bullard, and Minnie Lou (JW) Forshee; and brothers Arvin Perdue, Alvin Perdue, and Mitchell Perdue.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins, who will deeply miss her love and wisdom.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025, in the Chapel at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN, with Rev. Jason Baugh officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the nurses, caregivers, and staff members at Maybelle Carter Assisted Living, as well as the Adoration Home Health and Hospice staff, for their compassionate care during Eva’s time there.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Eva may be made to the Legacy Fund at Center Point Church, 1002 Center Point Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
