

Faye M. Cullen, age 81, of Antioch, Tennessee, passed away on September 10, 2024. Born on May 6, 1943, in Nashville, Tennessee, Faye was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Faye is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Lee Cullen Jr.; her cherished daughters, Susan (Nathan) Hyde and Sheryl (Kelvin) Ault; her grandchildren, Ryan (Anna) Ault, Lindsey Hyde, Reagan (Savannah) Ault, Jonathan (Shannon) Hyde, and Rachel Ault; her great-grandchildren, Ruth and Millicent; and sister, Dr. Ruth McDowell Lavender.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Earnest and Mildred McDowell.
She loved her family with a passion that exceeded her love for all things purple. She sold Avon for 40+ years and was a consistent top seller, earning many awards during her саreer.
Faye was generous to those in need and took pleasure in donating Christmas boxes to the residents at Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute for 40 years, and in her later years regularly donated a carload of boxes for the underprivileged in a rural Appalachian area of TN.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home, located at 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of Faye’s life will take place on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trevecca Nazarene University for the Earnest W. McDowell Scholarship or the Mildred McDowell Education Scholarship.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
