
Frankie was born in Davidson County where she resided all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard D. Crouch; parents, Susie and Molten Simpkins; two sisters, Zanie L. Taylor and Jean S. Rogers; and a brother, William J. Simpkins.
Survivors include a brother, John M. Simpkins; sisters, Mary Nell Mills (Tyler) and Jane Simpkins. Frankie was the longest attending member of Scottsboro United Methodist Church. She worked at the Borden Company for twenty-eight years and Red Kap, Inc. for fifteen years. Frankie was a wonderful person to everyone and will be missed by everyone. She loved her cats.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 4, 2015, at ten o’clock in the morning, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Rev. Joy Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from four o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton-Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Nashville Humane Association 213 Oceola Avenue Nashville, TN 37209 or Scottsboro United Methodist Church 5034 Old Hydes Ferry Pike Nashville, TN 37218.
The following gentlemen have been requested to serve as active pallbearers: Tommy Rogers, Terry Rogers, Garry Rogers, Barry Rogers, Sam Simpkins, Timmy Mills, Micky Mills, and Willie Mills and honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Rogers and Tyler Mills.
