

Suzanne was the second daughter born to Mr. Ashby Varnell and Mrs. Nina B. Oakley on April 1, 1960 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She earned two associates degrees from Belmont University and Draughons Junior College. Suzanne worked at Heidelberg Harris until she endured a car wreck in 1994 leaving her disabled and unable to sit up at a desk. Suzanne spent her whole life in Nashville, Tennessee where she was surrounded by her family and friends whom meant the world to her. Her favorite hobbies she loved included creating anything, gardening, reading and writing. She could read over a thousand pages in a single day and her green thumb brought life to so many beautiful flower gardens. She truly loved to laugh, spread happiness, joy, light, love, peace, especially the word of God and bringing people closer to God. Suzanne is preceded in death by her husband (James Kornguth), sister (Brenda Williams), parents (Mr. Ashby Varnell and Mrs. Nina B. Oakley). She is survived by daughters (Serena Stark and Kelley Kornguth). Grandchildren (Isabella Garcia, James and Kasey Chandler). Son-in-law (Taylor Chandler). Nieces (Ginger Williams, Nataleigh Kirsh, Shelia Jones). Nephews (Chad “Romeo” Boles, Tazz Boles, and Keith Kirsh). Extended family (Bryan Stark, Stephanie Stark and family members).
Suzanne had a vivacity, humor, and generosity that touched the hearts of all who knew her. A service to celebrate her, honor her, and remember her.
