Imogene (Teeny) Jones, age 98, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021. She worked for the ARC in Nashville (for people with intellectual and development disabilities) for 37 years. She was an active member of Judson Baptist Church and a volunteer at St. Thomas Hospital for ten years. She was preceded in death by husband, Elliott P. Jones. Surviving are two sons, Patrick (Carollyn) Jones and Mike (Gerri) Jones; 3 grandsons, Michael, David (Ashley) and Stephen; one granddaughter, Kimberly (Sam) Swift; great-grandsons, Hunter Jones, Drayken Jones, and Samuel Swift; and great-granddaughters, Kayla Jones and Ronin Jones.
A graveside service will be held for the immediate family.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Stones River Manor in Murfreesboro for the love and kindness shown to their mother. We are also thankful for Honey Hill and Avalon Hospice for her end of life care.
