Jackie “J.W.” Searcy passed away on his birthday, December 27, 2013 at his home with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Searcy; son, David (Kim) Searcy; daughter, Rebecca Searcy Adams; three grandsons, Caleb Adams, Colby Adams, Aden Searcy; son-in-law, Carl Adams; two angels in his life he called his granddaughters, Tiffany Sanders and Tiffany Dobson. Jackie graduated from Portland, TN schools in 1957; finished two years college at Western State Kentucky University and worked 17 1/2 years with Associates Finance; pastored Friendship Church for 38 years. He served his country in the US Army for two years and three years in the Army Reserve. Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at twelve thirty at The First Apostolic Church 265 Broadmoor Dr, Nashville, TN. Visitation with the family and friends Monday, December 30th from three o’clock until eight o’clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church.
