

Jimmy dedicated 32 years of service to the Air Force, a commitment that reflected his disciplined character and enduring sense of duty. His years in uniform shaped a life marked by responsibility, perseverance, and pride in serving others.
Jimmy was devoted to his loving wife of almost 28 years, Linda Campbell. He is also survived by his children, Jonathan (Courtney) White, Justin (Laci) White, and Kelsey Campbell; his grandchildren, Madalyn, River, Ivy, Lillie, Triston, JC, and Kaylee; and 5 great grandchildren; sister, Rita (Mike) Howell; his nephew, Christopher Howell; his mother, Earnestine Reavis; as well as numerous friends and loved ones.
Jimmy found genuine joy in the simple, meaningful things in life. He loved his plants and could make anything grow. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 88 and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He also took pleasure in feeding and watching deer and held a special admiration for eagles.
Jimmy's life was one of service, loyalty, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed and respectfully remembered.
The Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 11:00am ~ 3:00pm at American Legion Post 88 located at 2717 McCampbell Ave Nashville Tn 37214.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made in Jimmys name to Post 88 Girls State or Boys State or Alive Hospice, Nashville.
