

James Dennis Hill, age 75, born on July 30, 1942 passed away on Dec. 2, 2017 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by parents, Henry & Hattie Hill, and Sister Linda Hill, all of Popular Bluff, Mo. James grew up in Popular Bluff, MO, where he graduated from Popular Bluff High School.
Survived by wife Mary (Herbie) Hill, sons, Jeff Hill, Hap Crowder, daughter, Dede (Mark) Scott; Beloved grandchildren, Parker & Markie Scott, Holly (Douglas) Cammuse, great-grandson, Carson Cammuse.
James was a man who enjoyed life and the outdoors. He was an avid Hunter all over the UnitedStates and especially enjoyed passing this passion down to his grandson Parker. He made a point to spend quality time with his grandchildren. He was the founder and owner of HICO Concrete, Inc.James Hill was former president of NRDCA, the National Roof Deck Contractors
Association, and has served as secretary of that association in prior years. He also is a founding member of National Fireproofing Contractors Association as well as a member of American Society of Professional Estimators. He has served on various boards and associations of various trade organizations and over the years, a member of several contractor associations.
Visitation Wednesday December 6th from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Second visitation Thursday December 7th, 2017 from eleven o’clock in the morning until one o’clock in the afternoon, funeral will begin at one o’clock in the afternoon in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Burial following at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
