James Douglas Humphrey age 74 of Nashville, TN passed away on May 24, 2021. He was born in Nashville on April 2, 1947 to his parents John Buchanan and Amogene Cecil Perry Humphrey who predeceased him. He was a crane operator in the steel industry. He lived a very simple life to it's fullest and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents and 2 brothers Jim and Danny Humphrey. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Beverly, by his daughter and son-in-law Rhonda and David Pace, by his 3 grandchildren Leah Ward, Andrew & Lauren Ward and Kayla Ward, by his 2 great grandchildren Drake and Carter Ward, by his 3 sisters, Betty Dufrene, Barbara "Bobbie" (Jimmy) Martin and Janie (Jerry) Dies.
There will be a graveside service on Friday May 28 at 1 pm at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 4101 Highway 76, Cottontown, TN 37048.
