

Nashville, TN, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Summit Medical
Center, Hermitage, TN. He endured many years of medical challenges
that finally took his life.
James was born in Nashville, TN and moved to Greenville, KY, his
paternal hometown, with his siblings when he was
nine years old. After elementary school, James
attended and graduated from The Winchendon
Academy in Winchendon, Massachusetts. James
continued his education at Lindsey Wilson College in
Columbia, KY. After college, James resided in the
Nashville area and was interested and worked in the
radio programming industry. James was always
involved in his church life and he considered his
church friends and Pastors as some of his closest
friends.
James w as preceded in death by his beloved mother,
Gloria Hill Rogers and is survived by his second
mother, Mary Martin Rogers, his father, James L.
Rogers, III, and sisters Anna Campione, Hope Smith,
Elizabeth Garavaglia and brother Scott Rogers.
James will be laid to rest on Tuesday, August 29,
2017 at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Mausoleum,
660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN, with services at
10AM.
There will also be a final visitation of James at
Woodlawn Funeral Home and Mausoleum on
Monday, August 28, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm.
