James Kenneth Thomas of Nashville, age 77, went home to the Lord on January 2, 2014. He is preceded in death by Martha Thomas, wife of 56 yrs. He is survived by brother Jerry Thomas, sister Carolyn Bowman (Bruce) children Joan Slinkard (Steve), Suzanne Thomas, Jeff Thomas, and six grandchildren. For over 40 yrs he sold real estate in Tennessee and Alabama. He was an active member of Christ Church and long-time member of First Baptist Church of Nashville. A memorial service will be held at twelve thirty in the afternoon on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in the Wallace Chapel of Christ Church at 15354 Old Hickory Blvd with visitation an hour prior.
