Janet Faye Davis

Janet Faye Boyd Davis age 70 of Nashville, TN/Ashland City, TN passed away on Friday, November 14, 2013. She was born in Cheatham County on September 6, 1943. She was employed at J & J Printing until August 23, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, only daughter, Tracey Davis McBryde; parents, Clyde and Beulah Boyd of Ashland City; sister Lucy Biggs and brother Alma Boyd also of Ashland City. Survived by brothers, C.L. (Ruby) Boyd of Nashville; Kenneth (Iva Lou) of Goodlettsville; Fred (Marie) and Marvis (Peggy) both of Ashland City; sisters, Ruth Crabtree of Goodlettsville, Jennie Stanley of Madison and Dot (J.B.) Newman of Ashland City; son-in-law, Karl McBryde of Atlanta; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Jetta Davis of Murfreesboro and sister-in-law, June Davis of Nashville; also her beloved cats, Socks and Panther.

Faye was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, church hostess in charge of several activities: pastor search, benevolent and finance committees; President of Sunday School Class and very active in the Senior Group of Young at Heart. Pallbearers will be family and friends of Faye.

Celebration of Life services will be held at one o’clock on Monday, November 18th in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall, visitation with family and friends on Sunday from three o’clock until eight o’clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Monday from eleven until service time at one o’clock.
