Mrs. Janie R. Cox age 80, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016, in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Cox was born in Giles County, TN, on January 10, 1936, the daughter of the late Robert Reeves and Edith Baker Reeves. She retired from the Baptist Hospital and was an artist. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilkes Gibson and two daughters, Lisa and Patsy Gibson. Survivors include her husband, Willie Cox; a son, Don (Mary) Gibson; a daughter, Tracy (Paul) McCreary; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel (Jim) Climer. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016, at one o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Interment will be held at four o’clock at Lynnwood Cemetery in Lynnville, TN. Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday from four o’clock until eight o’clock and Sunday from eleven o’clock until the funeral hour at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
