
MARTIN, (Demonbreun) Norma Jean December 13, 2012. Jean received her Associates Degree in Nursing from the University of TN. She was a nurse at Vanderbilt Hospital for 28 years and was a member of the Baptist Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and the Demonbreun Heritage Society,as well as a member of Grace Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles S. Martin, Sr.; great granddaughter, Savanna Martin; brothers, Arnold Farris and Dorris Demonbreun; sisters, Dorothy Watts and Mary Sue Allen. Survived by children, Charles S. Martin, Jr. (Sandi) of Hendersonville, TN, Timothy G. Martin (Vicki), of Bonaire GA, David L. Martin (Linda) of Goodlettsville, TN, Tammy R. Link (David) of Hendersonville, TN; beloved grandchildren, Christopher Martin (Amy), Timothy Martin, Jr. (Amanda), Laura Pickerel (Jon), Amy Drewery, Jaime Janik (Jason), Brittany L. Martin, Marissa D. Martin, and Bryan Link; beloved great-grandchildren, Addie Pickerel, Clara and Colin Martin, Dylan and Alyse Drewery, Garrett and Eli Martin, Lilyan, Aden and Josiah Janik; brothers, James Demonbreun (Sue) of Joelton, TN and Jerry Demonbreun (Camille) of Mt. Juliet, TN. Her remains are at Woodlawn Funeral Home where services will be conducted in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall on Monday December 17, 2012 at eleven thirty a.m., with Rev. Fred Johnson and Rev. Ken Coleman officiating. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation Sunday December, 16, 2012 from four to eight o’clock and one hour prior to the service on Monday. The family’s heartfelt gratitude goes out to Chris and Rebbeca Sandu and staff of Elite Elderly Care of Hendersonville for their care of mom and also Alive Hospice for their loving care and support of mom and family. In lieu of customary floral tributes the family requests that memorials be made to the Demonbreun Heritage Society and Grace Baptist Church.
