Joan P. McKay, age 94, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on May 20, 2021. Joan is preceded in death by husband, Charles McKay and son, Lance E. McKay. She is survived by daughters, Sharon M. Atwood, Karen Lankford, and Linda Vinyard; grandchildren, Jon Michael Atwood (Vicki), Melinda Chavez (Eddie), Melissa Lovan (Scott), Shanna Sharpe (J.D.), Chad Vinyard (Kayla), and Devon Dickson (Randall); 14 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Joan was a loving, strong willed, and energetic woman. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. Joan loved helping others which was shown in her over 41 years of nursing.
