He graduated from Hillwood High school, attended Memphis University and graduated from Belmont University.
Preceded in death by his father, Randall P. Hunt Sr, and brothers, Randy Hunt Jr. and Jamie “JB” Hunt.
He is survived by his loving mother, Betty J. Hunt; nieces, Tami (Mike) Hickerson, Amber (Ben) Scott, April Hunt, Emily Hickerson, and Avery Hickerson; nephews, Randy Hunt III, Jamie Hunt, Josey Hunt, Brady Hickerson, Randall Hunt and Bruce Scott.
Visitation will be held from nine o’clock in the morning until eleven thirty on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home with Memorial Services to follow at eleven thirty in the Dignity Hall. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joe's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
