CALHOUN, John D. Age 64 passed away March 16, 2011 at a local hospital. A celebration of John’s life will be held at 2 p.m. March 20, 2011 at Tulip Street Methodist Church, Nashville, TN with Rev. Matt Baldwin officiating. Family will receive guests from 1 p.m. until service at the church. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 at Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden, AL. John is survived by his father, Ted Calhoun of Gadsden; sister, Amelda Skinner of Gadsden; 5 nieces and 2 nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Stanley Bodner and Dr. Matthew Hemphill. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Tulip Street Methodist Church or Nashville Cares. Arrangements under the direction of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
