Joseph Watson Raines of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016. Preceded in death by his father, George Washington Raines; and mother, Nettie Buelene Raines; brother, Reynold Raines; and sister, Sandra Calwell. Survived by wife, Effie Raines; brothers and sisters, Bill (Ella) Raines, Doris Muskoff, Paul (Martha) Raines, Helen (Jimmy) McCutchen; sons, Jimmy (Teresa) Raines, George (Christy) Raines, and Billy Irwin; grandchildren, William and Daniel Irwin, Brittany, Brianna, Colby, Austin, Brandon and Christian. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 27 from four to eight o’clock in the evening. Funeral service will be held at Woodlawn on Thursday, January 28 at eleven-thirty in the morning.
