Joseph Duey Sides, 95 passed away quietly Monday, September 29, 2025 at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville. He was a veteran of the Korean War. After the war he was employed by the Continental Church Builders, building churches nationwide. He was a 57 year member of the F&AM Doric Lodge having attained the 33rd degree.
He is survived by the four children of first wife, Lorene (deceased), Randy, Ronda, Christine and Scott. He is also survived by his second wife, Peggie, and her two sons, Mathew and David, her eldest son, Paul, having predeceased him, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be interred in the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
