IRWIN, Josephine Higgs, age 90, went home to the Lord on December 23, 2011. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Charles Cecil Irwin. She is survived by her three children Bunny (Cecil) Jones of Brentwood, TN, Jana (Charles) Gilliard of Canton, GA, and Louis (Rachel) Irwin of Daphne, AL; her grandchildren Kent Jones, Jennifer (Rodney) Carpenter, Julie (Will) Lyons, John Jenkins, Matthew (Erin) Jenkins, Lou Irwin II, Alizabeth Irwin, and Max Irwin; and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30PM in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 28th of December, at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held an hour and a half before the service. Interment will take place at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. The family wishes to express their appreciation to all those who lovingly cared for Jo during her last years, especially Tammy and Renee.
