Kelly was born to Don Senior and Jacquelyn on September 9, 1964. After graduating from high school, she became a successful human resources manager for several multi-national companies. Kelly loved to spend her time painting, watching nature, and helping those in need. She loved those around her deeply and had a profound sense of empathy and compassion. She helped raise a household of seven children and loved her step-children as her own.
Kelly was known by all to be boundlessly positive and joyous in her demeanor, optimistic, and approach to life. A fan of smiley faces, she was often described as a "ray of sunshine that brightened the days of everyone she encountered". She was beloved, not just by family, but by classmates, co-workers, her recovery family, her Above-All work family, neighbors, and acquaintances alike.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Donald Frank Schleicher Senior, her mother, Jacquelyn McMurtry Schleicher, and her sister, Dona Schleicher Stanfield. Kelly is survived by her three children Carson Everett, Lacy Jane, and Chandler Warren; four grandchildren Darby Shade, Celia Rose, Jasper Phoenix, and Everett "Evie" Jane; and brother Donald Frank. At the time of her passing, Kelly had planned a very meaningful trip to Hawaii with her family for October 2021.
Visitation is scheduled for what would have been her 57th birthday, September 9, 2021, from 2pm - 5pm at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home in Donelson, with a service following thereafter.
