She was born in Baxter, Tennessee, to the late Herman Ovanley Lack and Arrie Elrod Lack. Mrs. Hutcherson was a longtime member of Donelson and Lebanon Road Churches of Christ. Her family will miss their “Nana,” as well as her desserts, cleaning abilities, and her hummingbird stamina.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Hutcherson, and her two sisters, Lora Herren and Helen Wyatt.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Tom) Vaughn; three grandchildren, Trey (Amber) Vaughn, Jacob (Kristin) Vaughn, and Jessi Vaughn; two sisters, Jessie Horn and Chris Hillman; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
The Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home with Brother Russ King officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
Interment will be on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37210.
Serving as active pallbearers are Tom Vaughn, Trey Vaughn, Jacob Vaughn, Jay Bishop, Terry Horn, and Steve Kuhns. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Biffle and Bill Holman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37211.
