

Elizabeth was proceeded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert H. DeLoche.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Barbara (Carl) Campbell, Theresa (Danny) Fields, and Thomas Wilson; Grandchildren Catie Campbell (Michael Walker), Courtney (Philip) Alms, Megan (Chase) Moore, Jackson Fields, and God Daughter Sarah Grimm Holland.
As a Navy wife Elizabeth lived all over the world with Japan and Hawaii being her favorites. Elizabeth loved telling stories of all her adventures and the wonderful life she had with Bob. Celebrating Christmas on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii to seeing Nat King Cole in concert in Tokyo being among her favorites.
Elizabeth volunteered her time generously to the Girl Scouts. Volunteering in many different capacities for more than four decades. She was recognized for her many contributions in scouting. Elizabeth was awarded the Girls Scouts highest awards given to a volunteer, the “Thanks” badge, and the “Thanks II” Badge. She loved her girls and said they kept her young.
Elizabeth also volunteered at Bordeaux Nursing Facility in Nashville for many years and sat on their Advocates Board of Directors.
Without question, her greatest source of pride and joy was her grandchildren. She was very involved in their many activities. Always up to attend a game, prom, or dance performance. Elizabeth was their biggest cheerleader and was always celebrating their many accomplishments.
A Celebration of Life for Elizabeth will be held on Tuesday September 6, 2022 at St. Phillips Episcopal Church 85 Fairway Drive Nashville, TN 37214. Visitation 9:00am to 10:30am Funeral will begin at 10:30am also at Church. Internment following 1:00pm at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 7931 McCrory Lane Nashville, TN 37221.
