

Lura Dell Fagan, age 93, passed away at home surrounded by her family September 29, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Clarence E. Fagan, Jr.; son, John Edwin Fagan; grandson, Matt Kalkhoff; two sisters and six brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Fagan ( Frank) Sparkman and Michelle Fagan (Norman) Kalkhoff; daughters-in-law, Emily Jo Gray Fagan and Cynthia Benefield; grandchildren, Chris (Kelly) Sparkman, Jerry (Leslie) Sparkman, Jason Kalkhoff, Joseph (Hana) Fagan, and Grayson Fagan; great grandchildren, Stella Mae and Ruby Leigh Sparkman, Jackson Cole and Bennett James Sparkman, Bryn Elizabeth Fagan, Presley Harper and Landry Parker Ray; brothers, Jesse Roy Bush and Dudley Bush; and numerous friends. During WWII, Mrs. Fagan served as an electrician and was instrumental in building the military bombers. She and Clarence worked together successfully for 22 years as Fagan & Co. Realtors. Lura Dell was passionate about her husband, family, sewing and needle work, and travels. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, the 2nd of October 2014 at ten o’clock in the morning at Donelson Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Paul Casner officiating. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from nine until ten o’clock in the morning prior to service time at the church.
