Mack Jefferson Hudson

Mack Jefferson Hudson, age 96 of Mount Juliet, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019, at his home. He was born on Sunday, April 22, 1923, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, to the late J. Roscoe and Iva Doris McSpadden Hudson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mildred Garrett Hudson; siblings: Jack Hudson, Madge Luzader, Rosemary Lynch, Eugene Hudson, Paul Hudson and Ruhama Jane Riggs. He is survived by his children, Melissa Hudson (Jim) Wells of Old Hickory, TN, and Lynn Hudson of Mount Juliet, TN; grandchildren: Joshua Wells, Matthew Wells, Mary Wells and Benjamin Wells; sister, Phyllis Warden; brother, Cyler (Mary) Hudson; sisters-in-law: Linda Hudson and Dora Garrett; and step-mother, Ethel Hudson. Mr. Hudson served in the U. S. Army and later retired from McQuiddy Printing Company. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at the Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery. There will a Memorial Service held at Suggs Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 405 Corinth Road Mount Juliet, Tennessee 37122, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019, with visitation preceding the service from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suggs Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Alive Hospice, or a charity of choice.
