Margaret Ann Meadows

MEADOWS, Margaret Ann Murrey, age 62, passed away October 20, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Katherine West and Thomas Porter Murrey Jr.  and brother, Joe Randall Murrey.   Survived by daughter Melissa Meadows Duncan (Jad) and son Tim Meadows; sisters Mary L. Greer and Judy M. Foster (Tom) and brother Henning Murrey; grandsons Jonah Andrew and Marshall Allen Duncan; niece Kim Murrey; nephews Tyler Greer, Chad Greer (Kristen), and Ryan Foster; aunt Annie Martin; 3 great nieces Mary Hayes, Kate and Caroline Greer, as well as a number of special West family cousins. Margaret's gift From God was her compassionate, kind, care giving spirit both as a friend and professionally.  She never met a stranger. She was a devoted Mother, terrific Sister, fun loving Aunt and doting Grandmother Meme. A huge Titans and Braves fan, she approached her sports teams like she did her life...with enthusiasm and contagious laughter and zeal. Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will be conducted by Pastor Pete Wilson at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Interment to immediately follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.  Pallbearers are Tom Foster, Tyler Greer, Chad Greer, Ryan Foster, Norman Martin, Billy West, Ben  Matthews and Luke Wilson.
