Margaret was born on April 25th, 1922 in Glouster, Ohio to Frank and Emma Williams. She had a brother Frank and they lived a very simple life. Margaret graduated from Struthers High School in 1941 and would eventually work for the telephone company in Glouster. She would meet Manuel “Pete” Spinner who would become the joy of her life. When Pete was working on the dam at Burr Oak Lake for the Corps of Engineers, he would stop by the telephone office for his messages and the romance began.
On November 9th, 1949, Margaret and Pete married and later had two children, David and Pam.
Margaret enjoyed her time being a homemaker and mother, traveling with Pete on business trips and enjoying vacations with the family. She also enjoyed hosting backyard barbeques with friends and playing on the Ford Bowling League. Because Pete was transferred several times and they would move from place to place, decorating their homes would become her passion.
When David and Pam were in high school, Margaret began working again, initially for an answering service for a group of physicians and then as the receptionist for Bendix Corporation. She also assisted Pete with the typing and organizing of the project management books he was writing. But, in 1989 it was time for retirement and Margaret and Pete would head to Boca Raton, Florida.
Traveling to historical sites, cruises, trips to Europe, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and visiting family and friends across the US ---they kept busy. They loved their home in Florida and Margaret especially enjoyed having get togethers with the neighbors or relatives.
Margaret will be fondly missed by her daughter Gayle (Paul) Short of Smyrna, Tennessee, son David (Ligaya) Spinner of the Philippines, daughter Pam (Mike) Ling of Golden, Colorado.
